This project entailed the construction of a new 1.50km long Greenway between the Booterstown and Blackrock Dart Stations. All works were carried out in a live operational environment whilst both the Dart line and the Public Park remained open. A comprehensive Traffic & Pedestrian Management Plan was therefore designed and implemented.

Key site activities included; liaison procedures, excavation & disposal, services identification & protection, diversions & renewal, new drainage including SUDs design & installation, granular fill, new concrete footway, new epoxy resin asphalt cycle lanes, white lining, signage and final landscaping.

As part of the works we renewed all specialist granite and tactile paving at the main entrance to the Booterstown Railway Station. This entailed working on the edge of the busy R118 Rock Road where we upgraded a controlled pedestrian crossing.
